Privacy Policy

The app

Celebrity Invite is a party game you play in person, on one device. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.

• No account required. You don't sign up, sign in, or give us a name or email address.
• No personal information is collected. We don't ask for it and we have no way to receive it.
• Your game stays on your device. Your invitations, your guest list, and your Party Page exist only on the phone you're playing on. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
• No analytics or tracking. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking software.
• Nothing is shared with third parties — because there is nothing to share.

If you use a share feature to send your guest list to a friend, that happens through your own device's sharing tools. You choose what to send and who to send it to. The content does not pass through us.

This website

The site you're reading sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in your browser. The playable demo on the home page runs entirely in your browser — the choices you make there are never recorded or transmitted.

Two things are worth naming honestly, because they involve other companies:

• Hosting. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives and may log basic request information, including your IP address, to operate and protect the service. This is handled under GitHub's Privacy Statement.
• Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and basic request details. This is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

We don't receive, store, or have access to any of that information.

Downloading from the App Store

If you download Celebrity Invite from Apple's App Store, that transaction is between you and Apple, and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated statistics such as total download counts. We never receive information that identifies you personally.

Children

Celebrity Invite is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children — or from anyone else, since the app collects no personal information at all.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. Deleting the app removes your game data, because that data only ever existed on your device.

Changes to this policy

If the app's privacy practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds accounts, online features, or crash reporting — we will update this page and change the date at the top before those features ship.
